PRODUCT NAME:TURBINE INLET VALVES / PENSTOCK PROTECTION VALVES

These specialized Butterfly valves are installed to protect hydro-electric power stations in turbine run away condition. Valves are designed to close against turbine runaway during an emergency condition. These valves act as isolating devices for inspection of penstock without dewatering the entire head race tunnel. These valves close during over velocity condition occurring due to turbine trip or runaway condition. Further, these special design Butterfly Valves can also be used for turbine inlet application instead of Spherical Valves.

FEATURES OF TURBINE INLET VALVE / PENSTOCK PROTECTION VALVES:

► Bypass valve required will be provided.

► Companion flanges, Dismantling joints, Flange adapter as required will be provided as optional.

► Air release valve, Proximity switches will be provided as optional.

► OPU (Oil Pumping Unit) can be supplied on request when valves are not operated by Turbine governor oil pressure.
